As a mum to two teenagers, I’ve learned just how quickly time moves — and how meaningful these photos become as the years pass. Whether you’re waiting to meet your baby or finding your rhythm in motherhood, this is a season worth holding onto. My sessions are about slowing things down, creating space to breathe, and capturing the quiet magic of life as it is right now.
From soulful maternity, family sessions outdoors to gentle newborn sessions in my cosy Essex studio, I’d love to capture these moments for you and the people you love most.

Maternity sessions are about slowing down and soaking in this season. Whether we’re outside in the wild or creating something cosy in the studio, these sessions are intimate, dreamy, and effortlessly you. No stiff posing — just honest moments that capture how this time feels.

Newborn sessions are all about the tiny details — the squish, the stretches, the quiet moments of connection. We focus on your baby just as they are, wrapped in love, with gentle, timeless images that celebrate your newborn and the beautiful bond of your growing family.

Family sessions are best taken on location, where little legs can run free and curiosity leads the way. These sessions are relaxed and playful, capturing your family as you truly are — connected, joyful, and perfectly imperfect in the in-between moments.

Milestone and birthday sessions take place in the studio, where your child’s personality can truly shine. From curious expressions at 6 months to big giggles for the older babes, these sessions are designed to capture who they are right now — because these years fly by faster than we ever expect.

01/ THE STUDIO
The studio is based in my home in the village of Little Wakering on the outskirts of Southend-On-Sea, Essex
Filled with warm natural light, neutral linens, earthy tones, and a cosy aesthetic.
A calming space where drinks and snacks are waiting for you, just bring yourselves and the essentials.
Siblings are welcome to let off some steam in the garden (spot the horses) or play in the lounge, so there is no need to worry about restlessness creeping in.
02/ The Experience
I put my heart and soul into ensuring your experience is one that you enjoy.
I’ll be there to guide you right from the start, from selecting the best location that fits your vision to offering styling advice.
On the day I will give you gentle prompts (so theres no feeling of awkwardness) that guide you into beautiful light and genuine moments to ensure I capture incredible pictures that are anchored in your true connection, giving you a lifetime of memories to relive time and time again.

“We booked in with Emily for both a bump and newborn shoot, one at a location and one at her studio. Both shoots were absolutely brilliant, we never felt rushed or awkward and Emily is so lovely it made our experience even better! It was so great to be able to borrow dresses to wear too - her client wardrobe is beautiful and she has so much to fit all shapes and sizes!The images she captured are truly beautiful, you can tell how much thought and effort goes into each image. Working with Emily was like a dream come true. I'd contacted her about a maternity shoot and she was quick to respond. Emily was so helpful choosing locations, she went to the extra effort of going to several locations and taking photos of them so I could make the right choice. She also has a lovely client wardrobe which she was kind enough to bring along. Emily had wonderful vision for the shoot and was committed to being there in the early hours of the morning so we could get the best lighting. We also included my daughter in some photos and Emily made her feel welcome and was very patient with her! The quality of the photos is incredible. She made me feel beautiful and the photos are something I will treasure forever. I'll definitely be booking in another shoot with her and I would definitely recommend her to anyone after stunning photos and a genuinely lovely photographer.
